Automotive fix...hazard lights, turn signals not working. Help!?
I just had a trailer hitch and wiring installed. On the way home, I noticed that my turn signals were not functioning. I checked the fuses and noticed the following:
1) The turn signals, while not functioning, do NOT blow a fuse.
2) Attempting to use the hazard lights DOES cause a blown fuse.
Any idea what could be going on here? As far as I can tell, the hazard lights and turn signals operate off the same fuse. Appreciate any help. It's a 2003 Honda Element 4WD, by the way.
Yes, the wiring was done wrong. The hazard wiring is being grounded somewhere. Thats why it blows. Also the turn signals are open, that explains why they are not working.
SO that means, you have two wires switched , where ever you had connected them . It should just be two wires are backwards.
